Synaptic Resonance Submission Checklist

Here’s a more compact list of the things you need to consider before submitting pieces for the Synaptic Resonance Anthology:

  • Theme is neurodivergence in all its forms

  • You will be asked what – if anything – is your personal connection with the theme

  • Neurodiverse artists will be prioritised, self-diagnosis is valid

  • Poetry, short story, essay, photography, original artwork

  • Print versions will be in black & white

  • Free entry

  • One piece per file

  • Maximum three pieces

  • No length limit

  • We recommend you use the template, especially for concrete poetry

  • Please use Verdana font where possible

  • Only entries via the form will be considered

  • If you submit more than one piece per file, only the first will be considered

  • Entries close at the end of 28-Feb-23 (23:59 GMT)

  • Open to all countries; majority English language pieces for poetry and prose for this issue, please

  • Previously published pieces accepted

  • People will be informed whether their piece was successful or not in mid-March

  • Publication date early April; online launch shortly afterwards

  • Successful entrants receive a physical and electronic copy of the publication
